Cats That Wear hats!

I made the cutest necklace today.  Well, it took me longer than today to make it since I had to make most of the beads but today I barely got it finished in time to photograph before dark.

There is an yearly pet protrait swap at EBSQ and I partnered with a woman who loves cats like I love my dogs.  She has a whole lot of beautiful black and white cats so I made this necklace for her...

Cat's In Hats

Miss Kitty is such a diva she has so many suiters! There is the nice farmer cat down the road who is trying to steal her heart but there is also the more sinister gambling cat that promises Miss Kitty a great adventure! Who will she choose? There is a wide audience of friands and family all watching to see what happens next! This necklace is my pet swap with Tracey, our resident cat lover/expert. I noticed that Tracey loves black and white cats so I followed that pallette to make this 30 inch long lampwork cat necklace. It also contains other assorted decorative lampwork beads and a few pieces of hematite. The closure is a vintage czech button.
