I have so many things to show you! Fish today...
Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 07:22PM Well I have a few things to show you at least! I have been melting glass by torchlight in the early morning watching the sun come up. My favorite time to melt glass is when I drag myself out of bed at 5am and start the kiln and the coffee pot. Shortly thereafter I melt glass until there is daylight so I can let the dogs out & feed them.
That is pretty much how my days start most of the time. Once I get the fur kids taken care of I go for another session of torching and before I know it, it is almost noon! Whew, where does the time go! While I torch away I have my IPod on and you might hear me singing away. What's on my IPod that has me singing so loudly? Lots of reggae and blues, some cowboy music and jazz and a fair share of folk music. I almost always use the shuffle setting and the switches are always a surprise. I don't know how I ever made a bead without the IPod and I'm spoiled now and I sometimes wonder if I could make one without one now!
So what have I been making so early in the mornings while I so loudly sing?
FISH!

I am also working on a BIG freeform peyote stitched necklace that I hope to have finished tomorrow or tuesday. You all will be the first to see it!
Happy beading!
