Windchill the Almost frozen horse Bead!

I am pretty excited about finally making a decent lampwork horse bead!  I tried in vain after losing Bucko but it was very hard to do though the tears.  Bucko was the love of my life and we had 26 years of blissful happiness and I can see why it was all but impossible to be successful too soon after saying goodbye to him.

Anyway,  I know some of you read my "here and there journal"  and have heard about poor little Windchill, the young colt that almost froze and starved to death a few weeks ago.  Here is a link to make it easy for you:

Anyway, I was inspired to attempt horse beads again so I could make one for Kathi, one of Windchill's rescuerers.  I was finally successful!

I am excited now at the prospect of having a Bucko bead next!

I love this bead! How can I get one? - I know Jeff Tucker would like it too for his desk --- this is sooo adorable!

Greetings Susan! Thank you for your interest! I have been planning on another attempt at a Windchill bead for Jeff to have also. Horse head has been a tricky bead to learn to make but now that I have a sucessful one it should start to get easier!

I will post horse bead making progress in the coming days although it will probably end up being more like mid week next week. Please stay tuned. If I do make and sell any Windchill beads the proceeds will go to Windchill's fund.

I would be happy to post a picture with a link to you on my site??

For those that do not know Windchill passed away last night. It is such a tragic loss. I have been deeply moved by his story.
Thank you for sharing your artistic gift
