Amnicon is roaring! A walk in the park...

I stopped by Amnicon Falls yesterday and bought my park sticker for the year for my car.  Usually I only get a sticker for my scooter but then I never seem to get there to bead, which is what I would really like to do.  besides...my sticker will also grant me access to the state park on Madeline Island. 

Anyway, the falls are roaring at the moment!  I could even feel the spray on the covered bridge!

 

I went across the covered bridge to see the falls from the other side. 

 

 

The park itself is a huge mess at the moment with branches mess and trees down due to the high winds of late.  I am sure they will have it cleaned up shortly though but it was hard to walk among the branches everywhere and this old tree laying on it's side right in front of the covered bridge was a pretty sad site...

 

Interesting though, was the inside of the tree, there was a flower pattern...
