Baby Sparrows!

I cannot believe that tomorrow is the 4th of July already! it is now the middle of summer and up here on the tundra we're actually just getting started!

I have a next of Sparrows in my eave not far from my door. Lots of people remove Sparrow nests but I love the little birds!

There seems to be 4 fuzzy babies in this small nest. I have been watchng for them all summer and today saw them for the first time. They sit in the nest waiting for mom to bring them food; thier little mouths openng wide while they wait to receive the offerings.

Lookie their fuzzy little heads, how cute is this! You have to look close but to the left of the two beaks are two more fuzzy heads!

The middle baby is resting his head!

Oh my gosh how cute is this!

I love the little pests myself. There were babies on the downspout of the house next to me. Too high to see inside though. But the parents were busy all the time bringing food to the nest. I love the birdies.

It is so fun watching the parents be so busy to feed the babies! They are on my downspout too, but I climbed a ladder on my deck to take the photo. Mom and Dad were not too happy about it but I didn't get very close I used zoom. I will take another photo this week and see how they are growing! I see their fuzzy little heads and cute beaks all the time and they are so cute with their little mouths open waiting for food!
