Welcome to my Hip Replacement related Blog! Here, I'll chronicle my Hip Replacement experience from day one until the whole ordeal is over with, which could end up being many, many months, since I have to do both hips, one after the other as soon as the new hip's leg is strong enough. Hopefully my experiences, both good and bad, can help others gain some insight into the process, and learn both what to do and what not to do if you are facing this procedure, and for those that are not facing this? I just hope my story is interesting reading. Also, if you know of someone facing hip replacement surgery who can gain from my insight, let them know.

I'm gonna tell the good, the bad and the ugly, not sugar coat anything and if I'm having a bad day, it'll be sitting here for all to see. My hope is that by knowing that others are reading will help me stay in a more positive mood, and keep me from getting too whiney.

I'm a stubborn lady in my early 50's who's always been on the go and nothing ever kept me down very long. Therefore, I'm probably the world's worst candidate for this procedure. It's sure to be a roller coaster ride, I have no question that I'm going to have a hard time slowing down, so it's bound to be interesting....
