Excellent question! Carefully take them to WLSSD to the Household Hazardous waste Collection Facility off of 27th ave W and the freeway. Go to Courtland St. Below the freeway and when you see the building with the big blue pillars, you're there.. The best part? FREE!. Check the hours first, they're sparodic. There are HHW mobile collections that they do too, maybe one in your area. You'd have to call them to see if they're planning on one.
